scheduled export of a report to pdf
It would be nice if there is an option to have a scheduled export of a report to PDF. A nice to have feature would be to directly e-mail it to people so they are being notified of the latest report.
Another update on this item – users now have the ability to set up scheduled subscriptions with paginated reports and 6 different formats, along with parameters per subscription to allow further personalization. There is also now the ability to create paginated reports against any Power BI dataset in the service, and we’re planning to add drillthrough from Power BI to Paginated Reports in the short term.
We still have plans to support e-mail attachments for Power BI reports as well in the coming months, and we’ll share more specifics once we get closer to starting that work.
In my case, we expand the table data in a report to full screen and want to export all the data to PDF. If you print -> saves as -> it gives only current page. I'm looking to export all of the data from that table to email or print. Any data not shown due to size you use a scroll bar but when I try to print or save as I only get the data currently shown on the page. My goal is to export multiple pages which includes all data from the table or matrix in a report to PDF.
Similar to what Deepa has requested.
Add this capability on Report Server

Equivalent to SSRS

The key thing for us is to be able to: 1. Export high-quality PDFs with control over margins, etc. (currently adjusting print settings can easily throw things off, forcing you to make changes to the print settings, then close/cancel and return so that your adjustments are recognized by the format is not off); 2. Export all pages of a Power BI Dashboard, once it is opened in report view (? i.e., when pages of the Dashboard become tabs), via File > Print. Now the only option is print current page, but it would be good to be able to print all pages.
It would be great to export a single page, and the ability to specify a filter/slider state, so it can be automatically emailed to different people filtering their specific data. For example a report that shows data for the hole company, emailed to every department head, filtering the specific data of that department. But the report stills allows to see all company.

in our use case the client wants an entire report
Use case: Report would be higher priority for most customers I talk to. Pagination for Table or Matrix visuals would be great.
Maintaining any filters/slicers enabled would be very useful.
Sending to external user a huge plus.
I think this feature would be most useful to my use case by being able to export from the desktop application as a multi-page pdf, or a single page pdf capturing the current tab at it's current state (any slicer, selections etc. -
what you see is what you get) Having different standard page sizes (8-1/2x11, 11x17 etc) selectable from the view tab/page view dropdown would also be great as you could prevent auto-resizing or unwanted scaling when printing or saving to pdf.
Why do you wish to restrict us, why cant you let us do everything that we are used to doing in all other Microsoft Applications. Give us the choice and let us do what we want, rather than trying to control us with a Big Brother attitude. It must be taking you more effort to restrict what we do rather than giving us a free reign.
Ideally, I'd be happy with similar functionality to the PowerPoint export feature. Export to PDF would generate a paged, landscape PDF file with a page per report tab. Big feature component: being able to do this programmatically with the APIs, maybe even with the possibility of requesting that a particular report-level filter is set, so we could do programmatic report export for various clients.
I have a table which has lots of data. But since the list is too long it has a vertical scrollbar.
and I need to take the printout so all the data is printed irrespective of the length of the document. Requesting he feature in power bi to get the entire list printed.
It would be great to be able to export out each bookmark to an individual PDF. A great example of this is I have a report with all my sales regions information and I have a bookmark with filters for each region. It would be great to have it systematically dump pdfs of each of them into a folder and name them by bookmark name.

For reporting purposes, I would like the reporting to export to excel not only the onscreen view but the full report view. Meaning at time the report spills over to additional pages. I would like the PDF report to automatically pick up the additional pages and print out to PDF.

this feature should be made available for Report, Dashboard, BookMarks
The ability to schedule exports/email subscriptions based on filters would be the ideal state. Exporting all pages or individual pages of a report, would be a great option as well.
Thank you for reaching out. Ideally it will be nice if we have the option to do just the individual visualization or the whole report, so that we can share it to the end user (which does not need to do any filter at all).
The ability to export to PDF, excel or CSV all need to be able to export the full report. Specifically needing to be able to export with context to parameter/slicer values. If I schedule a report to run weekly I want to generate separate files for each slicer option
We would use this to replace hand-generated reports - single page reports would be fine. Being able to specify filters would be a plus but I suppose we could make a page for each export we need.
