Power BI - Export Data to Excel.
Power BI based Tables could be exported. But this export covers only the export of underlying data not the formatting or even column design.
my customer put this as hard requiremnt, so im rooting for this feature, please :(

I would love to export to Excel and keep the formatting and not have the data be placed in a table. I requires time every day when the reports are exported to fix or update the format. I would like the data to export with the comma's for thousands, dollar signs, percentages with the percent sign, etc.

100% agree with this. The conditional formatting capability within PowerBI is fantastic for analysing data, however when exporting to Excel this is lost...
An option to export data from table/ matrix visuals as displayed would definitely be very useful. All of my report users ask for this. Shamelessly, they are manually typing matrix data because Power BI can only export underlying data, not the matrix/pivoted data they see in Power BI report.
Why SSRS has no problem doing this and we still can't even export formatted charts to Excel with a 'Premier' tool is amazing. Can't even use paginated reports unless I want to spend $5k a month to do so.
Exporting the data in the format it is already in PowerBI would be more efficient and is very much needed. Please add or fix this. Thank you!
Please solve this issue ASAP as it's extremely crucial for business to be able to export in the format you already built. Thank you in advance for your help!

i need this very much.. i need to export with colors
Could be very helpful for the users of my report to show differences and repair data as a data analyst.
Agree that exporting data as displayed would be very useful and a time saver.

Yes, what Laura Horjea said, "An option to export data from table/ matrix visuals as displayed would definitely be very useful. Quite surprised this bit of functionality doesn't already exist."

Yes, nobody wants to rebuild the tables from scratch with csv in excel.
There should be a new option: export table as shown or export current view

Could not explain to the sponsor that we cannot export report's view in Excel. Users do not have to rebuild the report in Excel ! This is so critical for business users, thanks.

This is quite a basic function that rivals have been doing for some time.

1) Export data behind chart to Excel format ( not just .csv format) + 2) function of copy-paste charts (not only using print screens) are the key for Reports and presenting / analyzing the data . These two issues I see as big PBI disadvantage . Sure we can convert .csv format by using "Text to columns" to Excel columns structure BUT (!) If one of the details e.g. Project describtion includes "comma" within , then we can not split data to columns using "comma" as delimiters because then "project name" (includes comma) will be split un-correctly to two or even more columns, rather to stay within one column only. Hope Microsoft Office will take care and fix is asap. I think Excel format export should be as s standard.
I agree. I use excel to do more computational analysis with data and it's a pain to re-format the data or have to pull the data out with a dynamic pivot from the database (that can take a lot of time).
Thank you and I hope more people vote for this.
I have the same problem, data is exported in an incorrect format
Thanks so much!
