Add a multiple columns sort featue
If it is possible please provide the multiple columns sort . For example I want to sort the table visualization based on Priority and severity
Hey y’all. Thanks for all the feedback! We’ve thought some about multi-column sort, but don’t have a timeline currently to share. Keep voting so you’ll get notified once we start working on it.
Agreed - silly that this is available in Excel but not Power BI
when will you're going to be serious about user problem business want this feature, we need this badly, please get this ASAP we can't wait till next year MBAS for announcement than another few months for roll-out.

to put it simply, this software should not be advertised as a complete solution if we can't even sort by multiple columns. mind boggling. this is hitting a 500 ft homerun and deliberately refusing to touch first base

I was enjoying a nice Shiraz by an open fire when my children ran into the drawing room screaming, they revealed that upon attempting to catalogue and analyse their insect collection they were unable to sort through multiple columns within power bi. Please add this feature, for the sake of the children. Please think of the kids!
It's really really necessary.

Would like a Multi- Column / Advanced Sorting Option. Trying to look at freight expenses than by Sales Number of Sales Orders, but not allowing me to do what I want without the advanced sort option.
Please add multi level (or column) sort capability to power bi.
Would also be nice to be able to custom sort columns and rows (e.g. by dragging column/row label in a desired order)
Another must have feature, come on guys , still under review. What is there to review. Please start the work

Need it Quick ! and Fast !
Just need to update Table and Matrix Visual component, it should solve 99%.
and leave the rest on power query. (build keys, use of keys.. etc)
The best workaround I have found thus far is to use the DAX function "ISONORAFTER".
Function Details: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dax/isonorafter-function-dax

I agree, it is simply unbelievable that this basic and essential feature isn't readily available.
I can't describe how frustrating it is not to have this seemingly straightforward capability. I'm scouring the internet and struggling to come up with a workaround and I can't get anything to work. Pretty please make this happen!
I voted, the number counted up. I hit refresh and the number came back to the number before I voted. Things that make you go hmmmmmml.
Absolutely necessary and a big oversight.

I find it truly unbelievable that this feature wasn't included from day 1, and even more so that this request has been active for 43 months without resolution. Excel has had multi-column sorting since at least 2003!
A suggestion: For issues that seem as if there should be a very simple fix, you should provide more detailed explanations of the complexity involved and why the change isn't as simple as it appears.
Because not being able to do basic things like multi-column sorting makes Power BI look REALLY bad. I can't describe how flabbergasted my bosses were when I explained this limitation to them, and how low their opinion of Power BI is as a result.
Must Must have...serious workaround otherwise...
This is a valuable feature in the table visualizations. Ability to sort by multiple attributes.

Seriously? This is pretty crazy ridiculous. Time to start pushing for another BI product at work. I've used so many reporting tools that are better and have all the basic functionality. This is like a fisher price tool. Get it together and fast.
