It would be great to conditional format a table and/or a matrix based on the cell text, not only numbers1,747 votes
This month we added the ability to format text fields based off a numeric field: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-may-2018-feature-summary/#conditionalFormatting
We also are planning on adding a feature that will let you format your text based on comparisons. I’ll update this idea based on our progress on that feature.
With the addition of the Selection Pane in the October 2017 release, it would be great to be able to rename these selections so that they are easily manageable.
If you have multiple objects of the same name, i.e. Image, Text Box, it would be great to rename these (like in PowerPoint) so that you can clearly understand which ones you are hiding or making visible.168 votes
This is one of several selection pane improvements we have planned.

In PBI Designer there is an option to open an existing report. It would be great if this showed you a list of your most recently open reports (i.e. a MRU list). Even better would be if the MRU list synced across devices, just as it does for Excel/Word/PowerPoint these days.9 votes
I think we should be able to open reports in BI Designer once they have been imported (or even in Excel). Right now, it's static and can lead to discrepencies between the original report and the one imported in the Dashboard.21 votes
Hi Eric, we’re definitely planning to do this in a future release! Thanks.
Importing from Excel currently does not seem to support PowerPivot and requires a local path to the file.264 votes
Hi Christian. We’re planning to provide the ability to connect to and/or import an existing PowerPivot model into the Power BI Designer and to the Power BI service. If anyone else thinks we should prioritize this please add your votes!
