    New Filter Experience - Advanced Filtering on a Date only column includes a time bound. If the column is date only, it should only have the date portion in the filter experience.

  5. Add the option to have 2 legends on the standard "Map" visual

    On the "map" visual you are only able to add one legend which is a color legend. Often times you need two legends. Several other BI tools like Tableau provide the option to have a legend based on "Shapes" and a legend based on "color". For example. If I want to make all points on my map of people that are born in the USA a circle, born in Mexico a Square, and born in "other" a star. Then have another legend that shows those older than 25 green and those younger than 25 red. This would make the maps…

  7. Improve Standard Visuals

    I think PBI needs to up their game with improving their out-of-the-box visuals.
    From a business perspective we have had to make a decision not to utilize custom visuals as they:
    - Regularly fall over when updates occur to desktop or server
    - Seldom keep with new PBI functionality
    - Seldom have the same look and feel of the standard visuals
    But it seems like PBI is neglecting any improvements in this area because they rely on third part to do it for them.

    It seems crazy that the first 12 standard visuals are all just variations on a column…

  8. Group Tables in Report View

    We have the ability to Group tables and everything else within Query Editor. Even some grouping ability within Relationship view.

    Currently the only sorting that occurs outside of the alphabet is your Measures tables go to the top.

    Please add the ability to Group together Tables within the Report View of Desktop. It would be much easier to organize a data model that doesn't sort by alphabet no matter if it is a dimension, fact, or intermediate table.

  9. Arrange order of filters in new filter Pane with default being alphabetical

    The new Filter Pane experience is wonderful but what I think is pivotal but missing is being able to custom arrange the order of the filters instead of having the ONLY order being alphabetical. If authors were to add 20-30 + filters in the pane with the most essential ones having their names start from - X, Y, Z then the users are forced to scroll all the way down instead of having these critical/mostly used filters on the top instead.

  10. Option to remove K when showing data as thousand

    It would be useful to have the option to show/hide the "K" when showing data in thousands. The same applies for million, billions etc as well.

    If you have report with all the data in thousands it is only messy to see the K behind every figure. Instead you can create a textbox showing that all data is in thousands.

  11. highlight applied filter

    With multiple slicers on a report page it is currently not possible to quickly see which slicers have a value selected.

    It would be great to have the ability to change the color of the slicer background or the background color of the slicer items. (Default state, Selected state)

    This would help the consumer of the report to very quickly see which filters have been applied and which still can be applied.

  12. Force the Tachometer to disapear when the data set is Blank

    Hi,

    I would like to find a neat way to remove my Tachometer visual in my page view when the data is blank. Right now I have defined some measures using pie chart to show blank and hide the different parts of my Tachometer but was wondering how it is possible to remove the whole Tachometer visual when data is blank or zero?

    I have 9 Tachometers in my Page view report. It is impossible now as per the support team replied so they suggested me to post it as a new idea. Hope you community like it and upvote

  14. Dynamically specify Data Colour using column - for all built in visuals

    The other thread requesting this feature indicates completed, but there are a number of other comments indicating that the fix isn't applied to all built in visuals. - please vote up this idea to get the other visuals fixed as well.

  15. Allow support for API Jobs (i.e. adding delay support)

    Add support to work with calling and retrieving from API jobs. For example, these: -

    https://auth0.com/docs/api/management/v2#!/Jobs/post_users_exports
    https://auth0.com/docs/api/management/v2#!/Jobs/get_jobs_by_id

    Working with these queries currently fails as the query seems to run at the same second - therefore the job hasn't been given enough time to finish.

  16. Add Field Properties Description to Tooltips

    Allow the Field Properties Description to be added as a Tooltip on visualization to allow end users to see the definition of report fields.

  18. Hierarchy sort up side down

    Please add feature where we can choose sorting for hierarchy.
    Right now if I add hierarchy to matrix my rows will be sorted in this order:
    Parent 700
    Middle1 300
    Child1 100
    Child2 200
    Middle2 400
    Child3 400
    Total 700

    Where Middle1 is made of Child1&Child2 so sum is 400 and sum for Parent is 700 having all of the leaf level notes summed up.

    For some hierarchies it would be good to have reverse order, so first we see child nodes and than sum of those nodes so something like this:

    Child1 100
    Child2 200
    Middle1 300
    Child3 400 …

  19. import column description

    Can you add a way to import table and column descriptions to models?

    If you provide some API, we can create custom tools to load it from different sources like - descriptions in SQL Server, other dbs, modeling tools, custom Excel table and so on.
